In October 2024 I visited El Nido in the Philippines and spent two nights in one of the most  stunning spots in Palawan. The weather was warm with just the right breeze—perfect for  getting out and exploring. 

On my full day, I joined a private island-hopping tour and spent hours snorkelling in crystal clear, turquoise waters surrounded by colourful coral and tropical fish. The boat stopped at a  quiet island for lunch. It was one of those picture-perfect moments. Grilled seafood, fresh from  the sea and served right on the beach—feet in sand, surrounded by limestone cliffs. El Nido  totally lived up to the hype—and then some.
