Ticketing Executive

Job Description 

The Ticketing Executive is an integral part at ICS Thailand. At the core of our work is making our clients fall in love with our efficiency, organization, and punctuality and going above and beyond to ensure clients have the best experience while in Thailand. This role requires excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Reporting to: Product Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reserve air tickets for FIT, GIT, and Series through GDS system, airline portals, or directly with airlines;
  • Analyse fare and routing alternatives to provide cost-effective options and best fare of the day choices for clients;
  • Issue and reissue tickets as needed while accurately handling cancellations, refunds, and itinerary changes;
  • Maintain good working relations and work closely with airlines, clients, agents, etc.
  • Work closely with the Inbound team to ensure all tickets are booked correctly and keep Operations teams updated on guests’ flight details and changes;
  • Maintain quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures by correcting errors or problems and keeping up-to-date with airline policies, fare rules, and industry regulations;
  • Use ICS IT systems as per instructions, consistently and precisely;
  • Liaise with accounting department for collecting payments, maintaining up-to-date transaction records, and for invoice;
  • Flexible to handle other tasks if needed.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Tourism or Business.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the same position.
  • Experience in using GDS (Amadeus preferably).
  • Fluent in English, a second language is an advantage.
  • Proven excellence in a cross-cultural work environment.
  • Possess excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent personal and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of individuals, including building strong partnerships with other stakeholders.
  • Be patient, attention to details, willing to learn and work under high pressure.

 

What we offer:

  • Full time, 5 days a week, results oriented position. At times, deadlines and time zones may dictate outside office hours work as part of this pivotal position.
  • Based at our Bangkok office.
  • Negotiable salary depending on experience.
  • 15 holidays per year, additional days for each year of employment.
