Visiting Bhutan felt like stepping into a peaceful, otherworldly realm. I began in Thimphu, where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly. From there, I traveled to Punakha, a lush valley where I went on an unforgettable rafting tour down the Mo Chhu River. The tranquil pace of life was a welcome change. My journey ended in Paro, where I hiked up to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery. The steep trek was challenging, but the views and spiritual atmosphere at the top made it absolutely worth it. Bhutan’s landscapes, people and deep-rooted culture left a lasting impression.
