Today have a fun morning when you visit the Crab Market which is located at the center of Kep. These days tourism is on its way back but Kep remains a very popular destination for those wanting the best seafood as it is well known for fish and crab fishing. After visiting the market, head off to Kep National Park for jungle trekking of about 8km which will lead you around the mountain with beautiful outlook points to Kampot, the islands and to Vietnam. To enhance the experience in the National Park we take you to Samut Ranksey Pagoda for a brief chat with a monk followed by a short meditation before heading to Rabbit Island.
In the afternoon, board the local boat from the Kep Pier to the small Rabbit Island which lies about 30 minutes offshore from town. The island offers one of the most beautiful beaches in Cambodia with white sand and plenty of coconut trees. There is a walking track that circumnavigates the island passing small fishing villages. Spend the rest of your afternoon at leisure exploring and relaxing on the island’s beautiful tropical beach before returning to your hotel.
