Tour Overview
Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of Saigon from the seat of a stylish vintage Vespa.
Meet your experienced driver and then hop on the back of the Vespa to start the tour. The first stop is at Tao Dan Park where you can mingle with the locals, watch them practicing tai chi, and listen to the bird song.
Ride through the busy streets in Cho Lon (Chinatown), navigating narrow alleyways that the normal tourist buses cannot fit through. Travelling by Vespa allows you to discover the hidden interiors of these backstreets, and get acquainted with the history and the vibe of the city.
Visit Thien Hau Temple; drive past the Reunification Assembly Hall; and then stop for photos at the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the Opera House. Walk through Ba Chieu Market and visit the Mausoleum of Le Van Duyet, the Saigon Governor from the early 19th century.
Throughout the tour, your guide will explain the history and relate the fascinating stories behind all the places visited. For lunch we take you to an authentic restaurant which specialises in serving traditional Vietnamese cuisine. The owner aims to bring back to the modern city a slice of the old countryside with his motto “eat green, live healthy” where the emphasis is on fresh ingredients and Vietnamese flavours. This restaurant has been visited by Brad Pitt and Angelina in 2010 and other celebrities over years. After a delicious lunch your private driver takes you back to the hotel.
