Meditation and Wellness in Luang Prabang

Take a break from the usual tourist sights and immerse yourself in the art of yoga and meditation.

In the afternoon your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you by local tuk tuk to the pier. Board the boat and then sit back and relax for a cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Enjoy the scenes of riverside life and the distant misty mountains.

Further down the river the boat will cross to the opposite bank where the temple, Wat Had Siew, is located. After exploring the tranquil temple, you will be introduced to your monk teacher who will take you through the art of meditation. Your guide will be on hand to help with the translation.

After clearing your mind through meditation in the spiritual surrounds, travel by boat and your tuk tuk to the yoga school. After a warm welcome from the instructor, you will be taught some yoga positions that aim to improve both mind and body.

Fully rejuvenated physically and mentally, return to your hotel by vehicle.
