Evening Riverside Retreat
Inhale, exhale and say ‘om’. The ancient art of yoga has long been recognised for its health benefits, both spiritual and physical. And where better to salute the setting sun than on a riverside sandbank with views of ancient temples? Bagan has a special energy and it’s impossible not to be seduced by the spirituality and beauty of this ancient city.
Eco-friendly electric scooters will bring us to a peaceful garden overlooking the Irrawaddy River. As the sun sets we’ll shed the stress with a session of outdoor yoga. Depending on the level of water this will take place on a boat or on the sandbank – both offer serene views across to distant temples.
After the class we can relax in the garden as we gaze out over the water. The evening ends with a healthy dinner in a vegetarian restaurant.
