A Pottery Experience in Luang Prabang

We’ll go behind the scenes and meet skilled craftspeople who have been producing quality earthenware pottery for centuries.

A boat will bring us to Ban Chan Nua where we will get an insight into the age-old tradition of pottery production. Using techniques that have been passed down the generations, the villagers make pots, bricks, terracotta roof tiles and floor tiles from the local clay. Then it’s time to roll up our sleeves as we try our hand at making some pots!
Before returning to Luang Prabang, we’ll enjoy an authentic home cooked meal.
