Tour Overview:
Day 1 . Arrival in Amman
Welcome to Jordan!
Your tour manager will meet and assist you upon arrival at Amman International Airport. After that, you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in. Upon arrival at the hotel you will receive detailed information concerning tomorrow’s trip.

Day 2 . Amman & Dead Sea
Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to the town of Madaba, where you will find the famous 4th century mosaic map of Palestine in St. George’s church. Then continue to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. It is also alleged to be his burial place. Visit an old monastery and enjoy the views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land. Afterwards we will drive to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where there is the chance to float on the water.

Day 3 . Petra
Start the day by driving for approximately 2.5 hours to the red rose city, Petra – the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire.
Pass the canyon, the so called Siq, to reach the beautiful Treasury. Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle.
Drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 4 . Amman – Cairo
Breakfast and transfer to the Queen Alia International Airport for the flight to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted with the transfer to your hotel. Time for leisure.

Day 5 . Cairo & Pyramids
After breakfast in the hotel, you will be met by your personal guide who will accompany you to the Giza Plateau. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, as well as the famous Sphinx and the Valley temple facing the great statue.
There is the option of an additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of the Cheops Pyramid (payable locally).
After lunch proceed to the Sakkara Complex to see the first pyramid ever built – the Djoser Pyramid.

Day 6 . Cairo
After breakfast, your private guide will take you to visit the Egyptian Museum to see many fascinating artifacts.
Lunch, as through-out the tour, at a local restaurant.
Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. We will then combine fascinating history with shopping at the lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which dates back to 1382.

Day 7 . Cairo (leisure or optional tour to Alexandria)
Today you have the choice of having a free day in Cairo or join an optional tour to the second capital of Egypt: Alexandria. Here you will visit one of the most important defensive strongholds, not only in Egypt, but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. Qaitbay Citadel was built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot where Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse once stood. Also visit the much acclaimed Alexandria Library, the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, and the Catacombs.

Day 8 . Departure from Cairo
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by free time at your leisure, after which you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
