Overview

Whether you call it football or soccer, the game has become one of the most popular sports all over the world, uniting people of different languages and cultures.

We will kick off the evening at the Ahlone Football Field where we will change into our football kit and lace up our bespoke football boots made by a famous Yangon shoemaker. After all it’s important to look the part!

Playing alongside local amateur players we will have fun in a friendly match where age and ability doesn’t matter – it’s all about enthusiasm. Kyaw Zayar Win, once a famous midfielder for Myanmar, will even join us in the match. You can play both halves or just watch from the sidelines and soak up the atmosphere.

After the match, there’s extra time to cool off and chat with our team players – finding out about their lives in Yangon and their love of the game.
