Mingalabar and kind regards from Yangon!
At ICS Travel Group, we have a diverse team of dedicated professionals located in each country where we operate. Two of those individuals have overcome the challenge of being hearing-impaired and we would like to take this opportunity to highlight their achievement.
Meet Aung Kyaw Phyo and Min Khant Ko . . .
We, Min Khant Ko (left, 22 years old) and Aung Kyaw Phyo (right, 23 years old), have been working as Accounting Assistants in the Accounting Department for the ICS office in Yangon since December 2013.
How did you come to work with ICS?
We first attended the No.3 Basic Education High School in Dagon Township, Yangon, and then the Mary Chapman School for Deaf, which is located in Dagon Township as well. This is where we first made contact with ICS, when their management showed up at our school in order to search for candidates who would be interested in working with ICS and supporting the Accounting Department.
What are your duties?
The main tasks of our duties are to withdraw cash from our local banks, to collect cash from our customers and business partners, submit payments to suppliers, and to handle payment of various bills such as telephone and internet.
What do you do for fun?
In our free time, we like to hang out together with our friends and meet for dinner and go out dancing.
Anything else you would like to share?
It is a pleasure working for ICS in Yangon and we are happy that we were welcomed with open arms. If you ever come to Myanmar, please visit our office and we will be glad to welcome you!
